Why rent a lift chair (medical recliner)
A seat lift chair is a power recliner with a motor that tilts the whole chair forward to help you stand up, and lowers you gently to sit down. With the remote you can stop at any position, from upright to fully reclined for napping or sleeping.

We rent the Viva Lift Elegance by Pride Mobility in two sizes. The right size matters: your feet should rest flat on the floor and your back should fit the chair.
- Median chair: for people up to about 5'8" and up to 200 lbs.
- Large chair: for people about 5'8" to 6'0" and 200 to 345 lbs.

- We show you how to use the remote before we leave.
- One delivery fee, based on your zip code ($50 to $100), covers delivery, setup and pickup when you're done. Delivery to a 2nd floor or higher has an extra fee ⚠L2.
- Month-to-month rental ⚠L1. Call us when you no longer need the chair and we'll schedule the pickup.
- Cleaned and sanitized before every rental.

How much does it cost to rent a lift chair?
Lift chair rentals start at $225 for the first month and $175 per month after that. The large chair's price is shown on its card above. There's also a one-time delivery fee of $50 to $100, depending on your zip code, which covers delivery, setup and pickup.
Can I rent a recliner after surgery?
Yes. A lift recliner is one of the most common rentals after hip or knee replacement, because it lifts you to standing without straining the new joint and lets you rest with your legs raised. We deliver and set it up within 24 hours, so it can be ready when you come home.
Which size lift chair do I need?

How fast can you deliver a lift chair?
We deliver within 24 hours. Orders placed outside business hours are delivered the next business day. Delivery to a 2nd floor or higher has an extra fee.
Is there a delivery fee?
Yes. There's one delivery fee, based on your zip code, and it covers delivery, setup and pickup. Our own team brings the chair in, sets it up where you want it and shows you how to use the remote. When you're done, we pick it up at no extra charge.
Does Medicare cover a lift chair rental?
Medicare Part B may pay for the lift mechanism only, not the chair itself, and only with a doctor's order showing, for example, severe arthritis of the hip or knee or a neuromuscular disease that keeps the patient from standing up from a regular chair.
