How much does it cost to rent a hospital bed?
Hospital bed rentals start at $189 for the first month and $165 per month after that for our full-electric bed. Prices for each bed, including our premium G-Series and bariatric bed, are shown on the bed cards above. There's also a one-time delivery fee of $50 to $100, depending on your zip code. It covers delivery, setup and pickup when you're done.
How fast can you deliver a hospital bed?
We deliver within 24 hours. Orders placed outside business hours are delivered the next business day. Call (800) 219-9239 if you need a bed before a hospital discharge.
Is there a delivery fee?
Yes. There's one delivery fee, based on your zip code, and it covers delivery, setup and pickup. Our own team delivers the bed, assembles it in the room you choose and shows you how to use the controls. When you're done, we pick it up at no extra charge. What is the minimum rental period?
Hospital beds rent month to month with a 1-month minimum. You can keep the bed as long as you need it.
Do you pick up the bed when I'm done?

Our bariatric full-electric bed is made for patients who weigh 350 lbs or more, or anyone who needs a wider bed. It has the same electric adjustments as our standard bed.

Does Medicare cover hospital bed rental?
- Semi-electric only. Medicare covers semi-electric beds, where the head and foot adjust electrically and the bed height is raised with a hand crank. It doesn't cover full-electric beds, because it treats electric height adjustment as a convenience.
- A detailed doctor's order. A prescription that just says "hospital bed" isn't enough. The doctor has to explain, backed by the patient's medical records, why a regular bed won't work.
- A qualifying medical need, such as positioning a regular bed can't provide, keeping the head raised more than 30 degrees (for example for heart failure, breathing problems or risk of choking), or equipment like traction that attaches only to a hospital bed.
